The location is great. Metro station is near by. We had an unpleasant experience when we arrived, our room was not cleaned so the first impression was really bad. Other than that, very nice. Colosseum is 10min walk, nice shops, pizza, supermarket, ect...
The best place to stay for those who choosed to visit city for a tour: great location (15 min walk till Collosseum and till Termini station). Quiet district. Clean, comfortable. Room with teracce - very-very nice!
Poor breakfast (but actually traditinal for italian 3-stars hotels). Ask for cappuchino - it is great there!!! :) Slow internet connection (even for weather checking) До смешного скудный завтрак.Нет горячего.Либо ветчина,либо сыр.Очень маленькие номера и ванные(даже улучшенные).Меняют полотенца только после настойчивой просьбы.Медленный интернет
Location of the hotel was ok, close to the Metro station
Room is very small, breakfast is not good.
Close to city centre and railway station - as in walking distance
size of the room was less than adequate
Hotel staff were ok and breakfast is not typical Italian, which means that it is not so bad and small.
At first I chose this hotel because of location - which appeared that it is not so good (it is close to the Termini railway station, its bad and dirty and it is not so comfortable for walking at night) and if you go by foot to the center, with a good tempo you will need about 45min. As second, I dont know how this hotel got 7.3 mark!? I am traveling a lot and I have never in my life been in such a tiny room. The bed, which was for two, was approximately 110cm width and 185 length. Two persons can barely move through the room. Wc is ok. In my opinion this hotel is good if you are a backpacker and you are coming to Rome by train for a day or two until your next train.
All the staff members were extremely helpful and accommdating. The Coloseum is only a 15 - 20 minute walk and the Metro subway system is only a few blocks away. Grazie! A presto!!
The most advantage is the location. The Novecento Hotel is close to Termini Rail Station, being served by Metro (Subway/Underground) Line "red". The Metro Station (Manzoni) is 5 minutes walking distance to the hotel. Also the Colosseo is walking distance to the Hotel (about 15 minutes). Generally speaking the Hotel Staff is very friendly (except to 1 guy only that I do not know his name). The Novecento Hotel is a money- value in Rome!
The Novecento Hotel only drawback is 1 guy from his staff who is not friendly. Although I did not face any problem with him, I witnessed a discussion between him and a hotel guest. I do not know his name.
Very good location and a friendly staff.
Rooms are a litle bit too small.
Very quiet place in center of Roma
Good hotel, its location is very suitable for sightseeing. Hotel's staff is really nice.
Most of all I liked the cleanliness of the hotel, the rooms, good staff work, and very friendly welcome, great location, very quiet and peaceful place.
lack of free internet in the hotel, free of charge only in the rooms.
The room was clean.
I would like to quote the description given on the website for an economy double: " Room Facilities: Safety Deposit Box, Air Conditioning, Heating, Shower, Bath, Hairdryer, Toilet, Bathroom, TV, Telephone, Satellite TV, Minibar, Wake Up Service/Alarm Clock Room Size: 15 square metres Bed Size (s): 1 Double 1. "To begin with, the photos on the Booked.net website are misleading. I booked an economy double for which the picture shown is NOT what you get. The economy double room is extremely small for 2 people. The bed was more like a 1 size bigger than a single bed and NOT a double bed. The reception staff as such was friendly except one gentleman who was extremely rude to us when we complained about the room being small. He insisted that there is a true picture of the economy double room on the Booked.net but he was literally lieing on our face. 2. The hotel staff switches off the air conditioning regularly during the day and at night. It becomes extremely uncomfortable and humid for 2 people on a small bed to sleep after a long day of exploring the city. This was a money saving mechanism for the hotel who couldn't live up the the standard as mentioned here. 3. There is no minibar in the room. Not that it was important to us but this is just another example of to what extent this hotel has lied to get customers. So, in short, I would never go back to this hotel neither shall I recommend it to anyone. I agree that €150 for 2 nights is good price but I would have liked to know the true picture before booking this place. There are many hotels in better areas that offer the same deal, bigger room and don't fake pictures.
Small boutique hotel Distance to metro (fair)
The room that was given to us was not good at all. The bathroom was very small especially the shower room was vary narrow. They did not pay attention to change it although we asked for twice. The breakfast was terribly bad. There was no actual bread but only plastic-like toasts. The cheese was only one type. The cakes were terrible. We never enjoyed our breakfast.
The location was great and the staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. there was also a very quaint roof terrace which could be used 24/7 which was a great place to relax after a busy day in Rome
The room was slightly on the small side but comfortable and very clean
The location was ok
-Very bad attitude from one member of the staff, not service oriented at all -Payment is requested as soon as you arrive and they ask to get in cash the city tax -In internet they said they could arrange shuttle service to the airport and it was not the case and they don't have any kind of agreement or service -Air conditioned was not working and we could not open the windows due to mosquitos -Very poor breakfast
